REASONS WHY LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP FAILS

Reasons why long-term relationship fails.

There are lot of things that cause the end of a long-term relationship. I was discussing with someone the other day and he told me the reason why he was still single and not married was because the lady he has been dating for 10yrs and was hoping to marry,left him and married someone else.I was so shocked when he made mentioned of 10yrs.I was like 10yrs?if I was to be her,I would have left you since 4yrs.He was surprised to my respond.I told him she left cause she got tired,and was out of love.How can you be dating someone for good 10yrs.what were trying to discover?
  No matter who it is,how close you both are,or how far the relationship has gone.Once you reach that 4-7yrs,the relationship is going to suffer.At that point you begin to look and compare the relationship to its first year.The passion has simmered down,the butterflies in the your stomach has finally disappeared you will forget why you liked that person in the first place.Real life has taken over the relationship in form of work,and other activities. At that point,you begin to put less effort in the relationship not because you don't care but because you are comfortable, you know this person better than anymore and its feels more like you are dating your best friend rather than a romantic partner.
      At this stage,a few things happens like,love will become less and less,you begin to question the relationship itself, you become familiar with each other rather than staying in love.An internal struggle begins,the following questions pops into your head"Am I really happy?","Is been with this person worth it anymore?","Are the fight worth it?".once you allowed all this questions into your head,different things begins to occur like "having new hobbies,cheating,and partying all in the name of " cooling off".Some partner makes it,some don't.Why,because they all made a choice.
         Conclusion
    Been in a long term relationship is good,but never forget to not lose yourself while in it.Make sure that you're in that road with someone who will worth your love,pain and anger,time and effort.
