Episode 1

Marriage is a formal union, social, and legal contract between two individuals that unites their lives legally, economically, and emotionally. ... Being married also gives legitimacy to sexual relations within the marriage. In the life of this two couples, Mirabel, and Jersey, it was something else all because of Mirabel's mother-in-law. Mirabel, and Jersey has been dating for a year, and he wanted to take things to the next level. Jersey took Mirabel to his mother to show her the wife he wants to marry. Mom this is Mirabel, the lady I have been telling you about, Baby meet my mom, Jersey said, good Evening Ma, Mirabel greeted, my daughter, I can't wait for you to marry my son, you are so beautiful, Mrs.Truman said, thank you, Ma, Mirabel replied, oh! Let's go to the dinning before our food gets cold, we will talk after we are done eating, Mrs.Truman said, and they all went to the dinning. Few hours later, they were done, my daughter-in-law you look so responsible, hope you enjoyed the meal, Mrs.Truman asked, yes I did MA, Mirabel replied, hope you will take good care of my son, Mrs.Truman asked smiling, yes I will try my best MA, Mirabel replied. Jersey was already feeling excited inside, thank God mom already likes her, he said within himself. Where are your parents, Mrs. Truman asked, am an orphan, I grew up in the special kids orphanage, Mirabel replied, oh! am so sorry, Mrs.Truman said, thank you, Ma, Mirabel replied, so how about your education, how did you do it, because you look educated, Mrs. Truman asked, God has been so kind, I was offered a scholarship, I went to the University, and I now work in the entertainment industry, under fashion, as a modeling, she said smiling, hmm OK Mrs.Truman said as she frowned. Jersey was already becoming scared inside, Jersey! I will leave you to your guest, Mrs. Truman said as she stood up, and went inside her bedroom. Mirabel was quiet, Baby are you alright? Jersey asked, am fine, she replied, don't worry mom is just tired, he said. When they were done, and was about to leave, Mirabel told Jersey she wanted to say thank you to his mom, alright let me go tell her, he said, and went inside to tell his mom they were about to leave, Mom we will be on our way now, Mirabel says thank you for the warm welcome, he said, Jersey go see her off, and come back here, we need to talk, she said, okay mom, Jersey replied, and went out, but deep down in him, he already knew what his mom wanted to discuss with him. Few hours later, he returned home, and went to meet his mom in her room, Mom, am here now, he said, my son, I don't like that lady, she looks decent, but I don't think she is considering the kind of job she do, Mrs.Truman said, Mom! her job doesn't mean anything, Jersey replied, come on son, she works in the entertainment industry, I know I don't watch fashion shows, but I have heard what people say about them, Mrs.Truman lamented, Mom! Mirabel is different, and I like her, Jersey said, shut up son, what do you know, you won't marry her, and that is final, Mrs.Truman said, Jersey became angry, and he left. 

The next day, Mrs.Truman decided to watch a fashion show to check if he will be able to see Mirabel, that day she watched, and watched, but she didn't see Mirabel in any of the runway.

Later, that evening, it was time for her usual program, as she was about to change the channel when she sighed Mirabel in a bikini runway, No! No! She screamed, I can't let my son marry someone like her, she said, as she quickly gave Jersey a call, come to the house now, she commanded, OKay, am on my way now, Jersey said, and ended the call. Few minutes later, he arrived at his mom's place. Mom what happen? He asked as he saw her pacing around the room, my son you are finished, she said, me! How? he anxiously asked, I saw that girl mmm  Mirabel on a fashion show just now, she was wearing bikini, Mrs.Truman said, Was that the reason you called me? Jersey asked, yes my son, that lady is no good for you, she said, Mom stop it, I thought something bad had happened to you, he said, God forbid it, nothing will happen to me, Mrs.Truman said, then I have to leave now, I have something I have to do now, Jersey said as he hugged his mom, and left, son, son, she called, but he ignored her, and left.

One week later, Jersey went to meet two his uncle to discuss things with them, don't worry son, go ahead with your marriage plan, we are with you, and we will talk to your mom, one of his uncle said, then he left. 

Three days later, Mrs.Truman called her son, Jersey I want to see you, and come with that lady when coming,  she said, and ended the call. That evening, Jersey, took Mirabel to meet his Mom. When they arrived, Mirabel greeted Mrs.Truman, but she ignored her, my son, the reason I told you not to marry her, she said, pointing at Mirabel, all this people working in the entertainment industry all they do is just to sleep around with the higher ones to attain the position they want, but Jersey, since, you have decided to marry her, I won't stop you, I pray this Mirabel still has her womb intact, Mrs Truman said, Mom! Jersey screamed out, Mirabel felt embarrassed, as tears dropped from her eyes, Mom, am disappointed in you, Jersey said, Mom, I know you don't like me, but am not like other ladies, she said, shut up, who is your mom, Mrs.Truman asked, I really love your son, and my womb is still intact, she said, how will you raise a family with my son with that kind of your job, Mrs.Truman asked, Mirabel was quiet for a few minutes, I planned on quitting my job, Mirabel said, what! Jersey screamed, I won't let you do that, mom, we are leaving now, he said, and stood up, baby calm down, am serious, she said, am sorry you have to go through all this, Jersey said. When they were done talking, they left. 

Three months later, Mirabel, and Jersey finally got married, but things were about to change in the life of the couple.
