Episode 3

God never disappoint his own, He is always there to wipe their tears away, and turn it into Joy. Mirabel was shocked when she heard the doctor said she was pregnant, but how comes I didn't notice it, Mirabel asked, wow, thank you, Lord, am going to be a father soon, Jersey said with lot of excitement, doctor please tell me, because I just saw my monthly flow, Mirabel asked in confusion, Hmmm, you see Mrs. Jersey it happens like that, you can be pregnant, and still see your monthly flow, the doctor said to Mirabel, Mirabel let out a smile, mom will finally let me off her neck, plus am going to be a mother soon, Mirabel said as she touched her tummy, I can't wait to tell mom, Jersey said, thank you doctor, we will be on our way now, Jersey said, OK, the doctor replied, then they left the hospital. Later that evening, Jersey gave his mom a call, mom I have good news, he said, OK son, go on, Mrs. Truman replied, my wife is pregnant, Mirabel is pregnant, the doctor just confirmed it this morning, Jersey said in excitement, oh!  Atlast, that's a goodnews, I can finally be a grandmom, Mrs. Truman said, yes mom, I told you, Jersey replied, so send me your address, am coming right away, Mrs. Truman said, No mom, you will come when my wife finally puts to bed, Jersey said, please son, I promise not to make trouble, Mrs. Truman pleaded, no Mom, I will come pick you up to my place when the time is right, Jersey said, and when they were done talking, they ended the call. 

Nine months, Mirabel had put to bed of a bouncing baby girl, they were so happy, especially Mirabel. Baby thank you so much for making me a father, she is so beautiful just like you, he said to his weak wife who was lying down on the bed, then he planted a kiss on her forehead. What do you want to call her, Jersey asked, hmm, I like Desire, let's call her Desire, Mirabel said with joy, alright, Desire that's what we will call her, Jersey said. 

The next day, Jersey sent his home address to his Mom, then he went to the hospital to bring his wife, and daughter home. Few hours later, Mrs. Truman arrived at her son's home, welcome Mom, Jersey said, where is my grandchild, Mrs.Truman asked, they are both inside, go see them now, Jersey replied, and took his Mom to their bedroom. Mirabel so, you finally gave birth, thank God my son now have a child, Mrs. Truman said, yes Mom we are now parent, Mirabel said smiling, it's a girl? I thought you gave birth to a boy, Mrs. Truman said, don't worry mom, I will give birth to a boy soon, Mirabel replied, Mom, stop it, Jersey said, Hmmm, OK son, have you given her a name yet, Mrs. Truman asked, yes mom, Desire that's her name, Jersey replied as he held his wife's hand, Desire, what kind of name is that? I don't like it, Mrs. Truman said, that's the name my wife wants, Jersey replied, Mom, we can change the name to the one you want, beside we have not made it official yet, Mirabel said, no, love, her name will be called Desire, I love it mom, and please let's not make a big deal out of this, Jersey said. 

Three years later, Desire had already grown, and she was three years. Mrs. Truman began to disturb them for another child, when are you going to give us another child, Mrs. Truman asked, when she came to visit them, soon mom, Mirabel replied, don't tell me your womb is closed already after you gave birth to Desire, Mrs.Truman said, Mom stop insulting my wife, you wanted a grandchild, she has given you one, now you want another grandchild, Jersey said in a sad tone, Jersey don't talk to me like that, I want another grandchild, not just anyone, but a son, Mrs. Truman said, if she can't give me a grandson, I will get you another wife, Mrs. Truman, said, Mom stop it, Desire is your granddaughter, you are supposed to dote on her, am your only child, and son, and I know grand mom didn't pressure you like you are doing on my wife now, Jersey said, how dare you talk to me like that Mrs. Truman said as she raised her hand to hit him on his face, mom please, am sorry, you don't have to fight because of me, Mirabel said as tears fell off her eyes, you are the cause of this, Mrs. Truman said as she pretended to be in tears, Jersey do you want to remind me of your late father, Mrs. Truman asked, no mom, am sorry, Jersey apologized, fine, then marry another woman, and give me a grandson, she said, and left. Few minutes after she left, Desire walked into the parlor, ma!ma! Desire said pointing at her grandma's room, then she walked inside to meet her grandmom, I wish grand mom can dote on Desire the way Desire dotes on her, Mirabel cried at Jersey's arm, it's okay, it will be over soon, Jersey said to his wife who was still crying. Mom doesn't like me, I know that, Mirabel said in tears, shhh, it's okay, Jersey said to his wife. 

The next day, when they were done with breakfast, Mrs. Truman parked her bag. Where are you going mom, it's Saturday, just stay until Monday, Jersey said, no, am going to get you another wife, Mrs. Truman said looking at Mirabel, then she walked out. I don't like that girl, I have to find a very righteous, and good girl, Mrs. Truman said to herself. What if she get you another lady, Mirabel asked, don't worry I won't leave you, and Desire for anyone else, Jersey said, and planted a kiss on her lips. 

One week later, Mrs. Truman arrived at her son's home with another lady. Mirabel was having a good time with her daughter when she heard a knock at the door, your daddy is back, Mirabel said to Desire as she went to get the door, but when she opened the door she was shocked to see her mother-in-law, welcome mom, Mirabel greeted in fear as she saw Mrs. Truman with another lady, MA!ma! Desire called out as she ran to meet her grandmom, but Mrs. Truman ignored her little granddaughter,  where is my son, Mrs. Truman asked, he is not yet back from the office, Mirabel said as she carried her little daughter in her arm, they were still talking when Jersey opened the door, and walked in, Mom you are here, and who is this lady, Jersey asked, your new wife, his mom said, OK mom, am exhausted from work, Jersey said as he went upstairs with his wife, and daughter. The next morning, Jersey was about to leave for work when his mom called him, when will you marry her? Mrs. Truman asked, marry who mom? Jersey asked back, Mercy of course, Mrs. Truman said, oh! Mercy that's her name, Jersey asked, yes, Mrs. Truman replied, Mom, am you son, why can't you just be happy for me, Jersey asked, Mrs. Truman took a deep sigh, my son I want your happiness that's why I want you to marry Mercy, she doesn't work at the entertainment industry, she is from a decent background, and a decent person, Mrs. Truman said, no mom, I don't want her, please take her out of my house, Jersey said, look son, if you don't want to make love to her, we can have IVF process done, Mrs. Truman said, Mom! What? Jersey said, yes, son, Mrs. Truman replied, how sure are you that she will give you a son, Jersey said, am very sure, I don't like that Mirabel, and I know she can't give you a son, Mrs. Truman said, please mom, take that lady out of my house am not interested, and you better get use to liking my wife, Jersey said, and left. Mrs. Truman became angry, you must give me a grandson, Mrs. Truman said to herself. 

Two days later, Mirabel went to the supermarket to get some groceries, then Desire's school bus just dropped Desire home. Mrs. Truman was thinking of what she could do to get Jersey give her his sperm, when she remembered how much Jersey, and Mirabel both dotes on their daughter, yes I have to run with Desire that's the only way, I can make them do my bidding, she said to herself, then she quickly packed her bag, few of Desire's clothes, then Mrs. Truman, and the lady left with little Desire.

Thirty minutes after they left, Mirabel arrived home, but she couldn't find Desire, and her mother-in-law, then she went to check her mother in-law room, but her bags were not there, Mirabel was panicking, so, she gave her husband a call, honey come home now, I can't find mom, and Desire, Mirabel cried out. Few minutes later, Jersey arrived home, what happened, he asked, Mirabel was about to explain everything when a call came in, its was Mrs. Truman, hello mom, where are you, and Desire? Jersey asked, son since you are too stubborn, and really love that lady you call your wife, you won't see your daughter until you give me what I want, Mrs. Truman said, and ended the call.............
