In A Short Time 

Episode 1

Life is short, that the unexpected can happen anytime, so, therefore, we have to value every time, minutes, and days life has given us to spend with our wife, husband, and children, cherish every moment with them. A two young couples with alot of love and peace with them. Things changed when his wife met her ex boyfriend, and the unexpected happened. Chill as I take you down the Memory Lane of Mackie, and Pamela. Mackie, and Pamela got married six months ago, they were so full of love, and they hardly let go of each other. 

They always spend time together, and because they were newly married, their lives were just simple. Mackie works as a pilot while Pamela works an event planner. They were so full of love, and never joke with each other. One Sunday morning, Pamela, and her husband decided to go to their church in another branch. When they arrived at the church, the service has already started, so they joined in the service.  Pamela was sitting close to her husband when she turned left, and saw Jude. Jude was her ex boyfriend, so when her eyes got a glimpse of him,  she was surprised, "Is this really Jude?",  she thought to herself as she stared at jude, after few seconds, she looked away. 

Two hours later, the service came to an end, Pamela, and Mackie were walking towards their car when someone called out, "Pamela!", she turned and was surprised when she saw the person was really Jude, "Jude, is this really you?, it's been awhile I last saw you", Pamela said, as she shook his hand, "Yes, this is me, am the one, it's been long", Jude replied with a smile. Pamela let out a smile, "Sorry honey, Jude is my friend from way back", Pamela said to her husband, "Hello Jude, am Mackie, Pamela's husband", he said, "Hello Mackie, I can see you finally ended up with this beautiful lady", Jude said, and shook Mackie's hands. "Do you both worship here, because I have never seen you here", Jude said, "We just decided to worship in his branch today", Pamela said, "Am glad to see you here", Jude said, "Thank you", Pamela said. "Jude, you can join us for lunch", Mackie said, and Jude looked at Pamela who let out a friendly smile. "Let's go", Mackie said to Jude, and they all entered the car, and left. 

Soon, they all arrived at the house. Mackie, and Jude sat down chatting while Pamela quickly prepared the dinning table. 

Few minutes later, they all started eating. "So, what do you do for a living?", Mackie asked jude "I work in the bank, am a banker", Jude replied, "That's good, Am a pilot, while Pamela here is an event planner", Mackie said, "Wow, you have a great job, Pamela, am so happy for you", Jude said, "Thank you", Pamela replied. "So where are the kids?", Jude asked staring at Pamela, "We are not yet ready to have kids now", Mackie replied, "Ok", Jude said. The meal was so good that Jude couldn't hold back his compliment. "Pamela, you still cook really well, the taste are still the same, I can remember those days when you, and I had a relationship, and you always prepare delicacy like this for me", Jude said, and Pamela looked at him. Mackie quickly cleared his throat, "Sorry Mackie, I couldn't hold it back", Jude apologized, "It's okay, am glad you are really enjoying the meal", Mackie said as he looked at Pamela who let out a smile. 

Jude couldn't stop staring at Pamela as he ate his meal. Pamela was beginning to feel uncomfortable with the way Jude stared at her, so she excused herself from the dinning, "I think am full", she said looking at Jude was still staring at her, "Are you sure?", Mackie asked as he looked at Pamela, "Yes," she replied, and gave her husband a peck, and walked away

Jude watched Pamela as she walked away while Mackie stared at Jude who was looking at his wife. Mackie was becoming uncomfortable so he clears his throat, "I guess she is just too tired", Mackie said to Jude who was already lost. "Yes, yes, I guess so", Jude said as he smiled faintly, "Thanks for coming to our home, you are always welcome to visit us", Mackie said, "Yes, thank you, I have to be on my way now, my regards to Pamela", Jude said, as he walked out. 

Immediately Jude left, Mackie quickly cleared the dining table, and went inside to meet his wife. "Has he gone?", Pamela asked Mackie as he walked inside, "Go see for yourself, he is still waiting for you", Mackie said, "Really?", Pamela asked looking scared. Mackie let out a laugh, "You look scared, He left already, I was only been sarcastic", Mackie said, Pamela let out a sigh of relief, "He talks too much", Pamela said, "Is that the reason why you left him, and you never told me you had a cute ex boyfriend", Mackie said as he let out a laugh, "Are you been serious, don't tell me you would prefer I end up with him, and not you", she said, "I was only joking, you are my queen, and am happy to have you in my life", Mackie said and planted a kiss on her lips, and they ended up having sex. 

What a happy couple, with alot of love, but things were about to change for them now. 

The next day, Mackie and his wife were having breakfast when he got a call from his superior. "Hello Mackie, Where are you?", his superior asked, "Sir, Am having breakfast", he replied, "You need to rush down to the airport now, it's urgent", the superior said, and ended the call. Mackie quickly rushed to the airport. 

One hour later, he called his wife, "Hello honey, I will be home in six days, take good care of yourself", he said, "Alright, I will miss you, and fly safe", she said, "Same here, and thanks", he replied, and ended the call. Pamela finished her breakfast, and then she left for work. 

Later in the evening, at seven pm, she had just finished talking to her husband on phone, when she heard the door bell ring, "Am not expecting anyone, and Mackie just told me he will be home in six days, or was he only lying to me", she said as she went to open the door. When she opened the door, she was shocked at who she saw.................
