A True Love

Episode 8(Second to last) 

When God blesses you, he won't just bless you without lifting you higher, he make sure he lifts you above your enemies, so, you will shine. April was confused, and angry at the same time "Miss. Tamara is very busy, you can do business with me" She said, "Am sorry miss. We can only continue business with Tamara, You can excuse us now", the manager said. April felt embarrassed as she walked away. "What kind of thing is this, Tamara! Why will they request for her, How did they even know her name, maybe Tarama is having an affair with one of them", April said. A lot of things were going through April's mind. 

April arrived back at the office feeling sad, immediately she sighted Tamara, her angry rekindled, and she immediately went to meet Donald in his office. When Donald saw her face, he noticed things didn't go well, "What happened, Did they refused to extend contract?", he said, "No, but they requested Tamara, can you imagine!", she said, "Tamara! How comes? How did they get to know her?", Donald asked in surprise, "I don't know, but I think she is having an affair with one of them, because it was the CEO that requested for her," April said, "The CEO! how did he get to know her?" he said, "I don't know, but what do we do because am really confused, we really need this company for our plan to go well" April said, "Okay, you have to go tell the management because we can't loss this contract since we are still here", Donald said.

A few hours later, news flew around, the contract April went for did not go well because they requested for Tamara, and not April. When Rita heard of it, she was very happy, "Yes, am happy for what big boss did," Rita said to herself, and she quickly rush to meet Tamara, "I heard you will be going for Extension of contract with silver lining company", Rita said, when Tamara heard the name, Silver lining company, her heart skipped. "What! No way, I can't, let April finish what she started, " Tamara said, "Why? Big boss requested for you", Rita said, "No, I don't think I can do it," she said "wait, don't tell me you have low self esteem, you are trying to bring yourself down", Rita said, "No", Tamara said, "Oh no! Donald, look at what you have caused, please Tamara, I think it's time for you to regain that confidence on yourself back, it's time to prove to April, and, Donald you are better", Rita said. They were still talking when the manager called Tamara to his office, and explained the situation on ground to her. Tamara let out a smile, "With all due respect sir! I can't do it, please", she said, "Tamara we really need you to secure this big deal, so please don't disappoint us since the CEO requested for you, but you can sleep over it", the manager said, and Tamara left his office. As soon as she left, her phone began to ring, and when she checked who the caller was, it was an unknown number.  "Hello! Who am I unto?", she asked, "Is this Miss. Tamara," the caller asked, "Yes" she replied, "Hold on while I connect you to the CEO", the caller said. "Hello Tamara, when are you coming for extension of contract signing? ", Bryan said, "Contract, I don't think I can", she said, "Don't let your confidence down", Bryan said, and ended the call. Immediately he ended the call, Tamara turned back to the manager's office, "Sir, am sorry for the way I acted, I will go for contract, I think tomorrow will be fine", she said as she smiled, "Thank you miss. Tamara, I know you won't let us down", The manager said, and she left. 

When she returned back to her desk, Rita went to meet her. "It's about contract, right?" Rita said, "Yes, at first I told him I won't take it, but immediately I left, Bryan called, I finally agreed to contract, and will go tomorrow", She said with joy. Rita couldn't hold back her happiness for her friend, "Am so happy for you friend, favour found you, grace kept you, and love is here for you", Rita said, and they both smiled at each other. 

The next day, Tamara went to Silver lining company, the contract was extended, and all the people of Millie company were happy except for Donald, and April. "I hate this, how did she do it, why", April said to Donald, "What will now happen?," He asked, “Now that she is back, everything might fail", April said hopelessly, "Don't even say it again, You have to make it work,” Donald said. 

Later that evening, Bryan called Tamara that he wanted to see, and she agreed.  Soon, the driver was sent to go pick her from home, and he drove her down to a fancy restaurant.  Tamara was putting on a royal blue color gown, it was among the dresses Bryan bought for her. "You look gorgeous", he said, Tamara let out a smile, "Thank you", she said. Soon they were served, and they both started eating. Bryan couldn't get his eyes off Tamara, he was staring at her until he couldn't hold back his feelings anymore, then he said to her, "Tamara, I love you, I really love you", he said, Tamara was shocked, she became numb for a few seconds, "Sir, I thought you are in a relationship", She said, He let out a gentle smile, "Remember I told you from the very first day I invited you to my house that I am single, I used to be in a relationship, but we broke up", he said, Tamara was shocked at the reveal, "So she broke up with a rich guy like you, what might she be the problem?", She asked, "Am not the relationship type, I picked her from a random list someone gave to me, she was too proud, because she comes from a wealthy home, she felt she was supposed to be pleased at all times" he said, "Wow that's confusing" she said, "I love you" he said, Tamara became speechless. Bryan could see through her mood that she was scared of another relationship."It's okay, but I bought you a new car, take it to work tomorrow", he said, "What! A car, thank God, thank you " she said, "It's okay, my driver will take you home with the car, he said". When they were done, they left.

The next day, Tamara drove the car down to work, and when her colleagues saw her, they were surprised. "She was able to extend contract of silver lining company, and today, she has another car," one of the colleagues gossiped, "Hey! that is true oh, don't tell me he has been the one stopping Tamara from shinning", another said, "Yes, because since she left Donald, things had turned around in her life" another said.  Rita couldn't hold the excitement she had in her. "Big boss bought this car for you?", Rita said, "Hey! How did you know, you gossiped too much, but you are right", Tamara said as she smiled. Donald couldn't rest when he heard the whole gossip, he was sitting in his office when April walked in. "I knew it, I knew she has been sleeping with the manager", April said, but Donald ignored her, "I knew it", April said again, "I know", April said again, Donald didn't say a word to April, he kept thinking of Tamara. When April noticed that Donald wasn't interested in the conversation, she left his office. Few minutes after April left, Ben went in to see Donald. "Guy, Tamara is really shinning these days oh, and she even bought a new car" Ben said, "Yes I know" Donald said, "Since she left you, things had been good for her," Ben said again, Donald began to feel uncomfortable with the discussion, so, he told Ben he wanted to look for some important files if Ben could excuse him, "we will talk later" Donald said, and Ben left. 

It was lunch time, Tamara, and Rita went to grab lunch. "So tell me, what happened, how did he give you that car?" Rita asked, "My Friend, it's God oh", Tamara said, not wanting to tell Rita the full story." My friend, Bryan is really the definition of love, What if he asks, you out, hope you will say yes?", Rita asked, Tamara was silent, "I don't know, I have to be sure", Tamara said, "My friend, There is nothing to be sure of, he made you regain your self-esteem, your confidence, that is true love, he showed you he has your interest at hand," Rita said, "Hmmm love therapist, let's go, lunchtime is over". Tamara said, and they both left. 

One month later, things had already turned around for Tamara, that when it comes of contract project, she always took it, not letting April handle it anymore, Things became sour for April, and Donald, he began to see signs. “Since April is no longer handling contract, how will she be able to get clients, I better leave April now, " Donald said to himself. Tamara, and Bryan continued going out, but he didn't mention his feelings to her again, "I want her to find herself, so when the time comes, she will accept me", he said to himself. While Tamara was expecting Bryan to say something concerning his feelings for her, but too bad he didn't. 

Donald, and April began to have issues. "Why did I even meet April", he said to Ben, Ben let out a loud laugh, "Don't tell me you are regretting it now", Ben said laughing, "Yes, I still love Tamara, I shouldn't have cheated on her", he said, "You love Tamara, because she now looks very fresh, and smells nice, remember I warned you", Ben said, "I know you did, That's why I want you to talk to Tamara on my behalf", Donald said, "What! No way", Ben shouted.............
