Last Episode 9

The thing about trust is that when it's broken, it's hard to get back. True Love can find you when you least expect it. Ben looked at Donald in a disappointed way. "I don't think I can do it", he said, "okay, I have to try myself", Donald said, "Good luck to you then", Ben said. Deep down inside Donald, he knew it won't be that easy for him to approach Tamara, not after what he did to her. 

The next day, Tamara dressed to work looking extremely beautiful, that she drew the attention of her colleagues including April, and Donald. "Tamara is looking beautiful this morning, the new man in her life must be very rich" One of the colleagues whispered, "Yes, I can notice this high IQ in her now", another said, "Yes she always has that high IQ in her, some people are better off in your life for you to shine" another said looking towards the direction of Donald. When Donald heard the gossips, and saw how beautiful she has become, it gave him the zeal to go after her. "I must get her back, I must do it today" he said to himself.  So, after work, Donald went to meet Tamara at the parking lot. "You look beautiful I must confess" he said, "Thank you" She replied, and was about to enter into her car when Donald stopped her again. "Please Tamara, am so sorry for everything, I want us, to discuss about us," Donald said, Tamara not knowing what to say, ignored him, entered into her car, and drove off. "I know she still loves me, all I need is just time, and she will run back to me, who will love her like I do, I know the new guy in her life want to just deceive her", Donald said to himself as he laughed, and walked away. 

Later that evening, Rita went to visit Tamara, since they didn't get enough time to talk at work. "My friend, you are looking beautiful, are you going out?" Rita asked, "No, if I was going out, I won't have let you come", Tamara said, "Okay, so how is big boss?", Rita said, "He is fine," Tamara replied, "Good, I noticed April, and Donald are not that close like they use to", Rita said, "I don't know, but after we closed from work today, Donald came to me and said he was sorry, and wants to talk about us", Tamara said, "What! Hope you told him No?", Rita asked Tamara, "I couldn't say anything," Tamara said, "You better tell him no, Bryan please, come, and ask this girl out oh", Rita said, "Bryan told me he loves me", Tamara unknownly said to Rita, "What! And you didn't tell me, when, and what was your response?", Rita said, "Although It's been long, I didn't say anything to him, and since then, he hasn't talked about it again" Tamara said, "Oh no, Tamara, don't tell me you are still in love with someone who left you for someone else?" Rita said, "I don't know, what if Bryan do the same to me?" Tamara said , Rita took a deep sigh, "Look Tamara, am certain Bryan won't hurt you," Rita said, "How do you know, like they say, the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know", Tamara said, "Forget that, and look at things this way, since you met Bryan, has he ever made you cry at night, some devil can't always be better than the angel you don't know, just like Donald, he hurt you, cheated on you, and made you lost your self-esteem, if not for Bryan I bet you would have been lost completely. Bryan really showed you the meaning of true love, he taught you real love can never hurt or make you cry, those who love you will always have your interest at hand, now tell me, how is the devil better than the angel now?" Rita said. Tamara became numb, and speechless. "Just think about this, and act wisely, don't fall for the same mistake twice", Rita said, "Thank you, I knew I could always count on you", Tamara said as she let out a smile.

That night, Tamara couldn't catch any sleep, she kept reminiscing on what Rita said to her. "I have to talk to Bryan, Yes! I won't let this good opportunity that God has given me slip away", She said to herself, "I know I love Bryan, just that little part of me wants Donald", she said to herself, as she smiled, until she finally slept off. 

The next day was Saturday, Tamara called Bryan on phone. "Hello, can I come see you later?", she said, "Yes, what time, so I can send my driver to come pick you up", Bryan said, "Don't worry, I can drive myself to your house", she said, "Are you sure?", he asked, "Yes, I can come all by myself", she said, "Okay, I will talk to the security guard", he said, "I will be there at 7:30pm", She said, "Okay, he replied and ended the call". Bryan let out a smile, "I know it's time, she is now ready", he said to himself, and let out a gentle smile. 

Later in the evening, it was almost 7:30pm, when her phone began to ring, she checked, who the caller was, "This number looks familiar", she said as she answered the call. "Hello! Who am I unto?", she said, "It's me Donald, can I see you tonight?", he asked, she was silent for a few seconds, "This isn't the right time to end-all of this", she muttered to herself, "No, I will call you when I want to discuss us, to you", she said, and ended the call. Donald did not feel offended with her reply, "Atleast she picked my call, and still want to talk about us, I can wait", he muttered to himself. 

Tamara quickly dressed up, she was putting on a peach color gown with a brown color heel shoes. When she was done, it was 7:30pm already, so, she entered her car, and drove off. 

A few minutes later, she arrived at Bryan's Home. He had already prepared the table waiting for her. Soon she walked into his house looking extremely gorgeous. "Wow... You look beautiful," he complimented, "Thank you, and you look fine too", she said, "Thank you, let's go to the dinning, after that, we can talk", he said, and walked her to the dinning. They couldn't stop glancing at each other at every slightest chance they got. 

Thirty minutes later, they were done with the meal. "Thank you for coming", he said, "Alright", she said. She became shy to tell him the real reason she came to see him. He could notice it at her face, that she wanted to say something to him. "So, do you want to say anything?", he asked, "No.. Not really", she lied, "Look, am not forcing you to do anything against your will", he said, Tamara let out a smile, as she gain confidence, and moved closer to him, "No", she said, and planted a passionate kiss on his lips, "You didn't force me into doing anything, I love you too Bryan", she said.Bryan was shocked, he let out a smile, and planted a kiss on her lips, "Thank you", he said, "Don't worry, when the time fully comes, you will have the full piece of me", he said as he saw the burning desires in her eyes. 

That night, when Tamara got home, she felt very happy. "Oh God I can't believe I just did that, so am Bryan's girlfriend", she said to herself as she blushed. While Bryan on the other hand, felt the same way, "I think I have to wife her immediately, I don't have to wait for long", he said to himself, as he smiled. 

On Monday morning, Tamara went to work looking completely different. When Rita saw her, she knew it was all about Bryan, I have to talk to her later, Rita said. So when it was lunchtime, Rita went to meet Tamara, so they could go have lunch together, they were on their way to the canteen when Donald quickly went to Tamara. "Can we have lunch together?", he asked, "Sorry, I will be having lunch with Rita", Tamara said, “Please, can I join the both of you?", he said again, Tamara was quiet for a few seconds, "Okay", she said, as she looked Rita, telling her to be calm, Rita became angry. 

The trio went to the canteen, ordered, and were served. They started eating when Donald said to Tamara, "You are looking beautiful these past few months" he said, "Thank you", Tamara replied. while Rita looked at Donald with an eye which says, "You were the bad luck in her life, now that you are out of her life, why won't she look beautiful". When they were done, Donald offered to pay the bills. "Can we go now", he said to Tamara, "You go ahead, we will be behind you", Tamara said, "Okay", Donald said, and left. Immediately Donald left, Rita was about to ask Tamara why she allowed Donald to have lunch with them, "I know that look, I got this, beside I told Bryan the way I felt about him", Tamara happily said, "Yes, so what did he say?", Rita asked, "we kissed, and he told me soon, I will have the full piece of him", She said, "Tamara that's huge, I see wedding invitation card", Rita said, and they both laughed. 

One month later, Donald began to give  himself hope, because himself and Tamara always have lunch. "I just hope Tamara had not gone back to Donald" Some colleagues whispered among themselves, "Because they always have lunch together, it doesn't mean anything" another said, "I just hope, so" another one said. "Ben I told you, I will get her back", Donald said smiling, "So because you always have lunch with her, that's why you are giving yourself some hope," Ben said as he laughed, "Forget it, she will be mine, soon, I will shoot my shot", he said. 

That evening, Bryan called Tamara, that it's important he sees her that night, "okay", she said. Soon she arrived at Bryan's Home. "What happened, hope all is well?", she said to Bryan, Bryan let out a smile, "am fine", he said as he dipped his hand into in pocket, removed a little purple box, and knelt down. Immediately Tamara saw it, out of joy, she screamed out, "It's a ring", she said with excitement, "Will you be Mrs. Bryan?", he popped the question, "Yes! Yes! I will be your wife, I will be Mrs. Bryan", she said as tears dropped off her eyes. Bryan slipped the ring into her finger and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. "It's time", he whispered to her ear, and she laughed. Immediately, Bryan took her upstairs, to his room, removed her dress, and caress her passionately, "Are you ready?" he whispered to her ear again, She laughed so hard, "Yes, I am", she said, and Bryan went gentle on her that she moan loudly. When they were done, he took her to the bathroom, and bath her. That night, Tamara couldn't go home, she spent the night at Bryan's Home. 

The next day, she went to work, she was smiling at everyone. "Why is she so happy?", One of the colleagues said, "Look, it's a ring, I think Donald just engaged her again", another said. When Rita saw how happy her friend was, she knew something good had happened, "I have to wait for lunchtime so, I can ask her what the good news was", Rita said to herself. Immediately it was lunchtime, Rita ran to meet Tamara, "we have to go now before Donald comes here", Rita said, "okay", Tamara replied.  Immediately they arrived at the canteen, they sat down, ordered for their meal, and started eating. Rita keep staring at Tamara patiently. "I know that look, Good news, Bryan proposed to me", she said as she showed Rita her ring, "It's diamond, so, you will soon be married to big boss, congratulations", Rita said, "Thank you", Tamara said, "Don't tell anyone, I want to surprise them with the invitation cards, I won't wear this ring to work after today" Tamara said to Rita, "Lip sealed", Rita said to Tamara, and they both laughed. 

Two weeks later, Donald started to notice something strange about Tamara, "I have to talk to her before it becomes too late", he said to himself. That day, he went to meet Tamara after work. "Please can I see you tonight?" Donald said, "Oh no, but you can see me tomorrow, just send me the address, after work then we meet", she said, "Thank you, I promise you I won't disappoint you this time", He said, "Okay", she said, and left.

Immediately she left, she drove down to Bryan's Home. "Hello babe", she greeted, "How was work love?", he asked, "Good", she replied, "Good, here are the invitation cards," he said as he gave her the card. When she opened it and saw her name on it, tears of joy fell off her eyes, "Now I know it's for real", she said to Bryan, "Yes it's real, I think now is the time to send your resignation letter", he said as he let out a smile, "Are you for real?", she said, "Yes, I already have a position waiting for you at Silver lining company, and your assistance is also ready", he said, "Assistance! I have the better one" she said, "Okay" he said, and planted a kiss on her lips. 

 

That night, immediately she got home, she quickly prepared her resignation letter, "Fine, I will be leaving that place for good but before I leave, I have to do something", she said to herself.  

The next day, she didn't send her resignation letter to the management, "I have to deal with Donald first", she said to herself. she didn't tell Rita her intentions, she wanted it to be a surprise. That evening, after work, Donald sent her an address, "I have to look good", he said to himself as he dressed in his best way. Soon he arrived at the location, Tamara also arrived at the location. "You look beautiful," he said, Tamara let out a smile, "What will you like to order", he asked, "Nothing, Am fine", she said, "Okay....ehn... Tamara, I have really missed you", he said, "Okay", she replied, "Am sorry for the way, I behaved, I shouldn't have left you, forgive me, and I want you back", he said, "I have forgiven you a long time, but you see the second part, you can't have me back", she said as she removed her ring from her bag, and slipped it to her finger. When Donald saw the ring, he became confused, "when? How comes?", he said, “That's no business of yours", she said, "Look, this new guy don't love you, he just wants to tie you down with a ring", he said, "oh! You mean tied me down the way you did?" she asked, "Baby it was the devil, I really love you, and you know I do, that guy won't show you true love," he said, "Do you know what true love is?", She said, "You can call off that engagement", Donald said, "Look, Donald, I am not selfish like you, am not greedy, I have the interest of my love one at hand, and he is ten times the man you will never be, I used to love you then, and prayed for God to join us together, but not anymore, you are of the past now", she said as she removed her invitation card from her bag, and placed it on the table, "You are invited", she said, and left him in shame. When Donald opened the invitation card and saw the name, he was shocked, "The CEO of silver lining company", he said to himself, in shame. 

The next day, Tamara went to work, and presented her resignation letter to the management. "Miss. Tamara you don't have to resign, we can promote you, increase your salary, you are one of the best", the manager said, "No sir, my fiancé wants me to resign, and I also want to", she said, "Why will a man wants you to resign, and stay at home?", the manager asked, "The best sir, besides am not staying at home", she said, as she removed the invitation card from her bag, and gave it to the manager, "After my wedding, I won't work here, anymore, thank you sir", she said , and left. When the manager opened the card, and saw the name, he was shocked, "What! The CEO of silver lining company, what a blessing to Miss. Tamara, she deserves it", he said. 

Tamara gave all her colleagues her Invitation card, including April. When April saw the card, she made jest of Donald. Ben went to Donald's office, "I saw the invitation card man," Ben said, Donald couldn't say a word. Soon news about Tamara resignation flew around. "What a lucky lady", one of their colleague said. When Rita heard of Tamara resignation, she felt bad, and pained. "So, you are finally leaving for real, I will miss you", Rita said as tears fell off her eyes, "Hmmm, don't be too emotional, You can be my PA, if you are interested" Tamara said. When Rita heard the word PA, She became happy, "Yes, yes, I will, so, you remembered me", Rita said, "Why will I ever forget the only one who encouraged me, you also need to send your resignation letter soon", Tamara said, and they both laughed. 

Two weeks later, Tamara, and Bryan finally got married. It was now official that Tamara is now, Mrs. Tamara Bryan, She blushed as she saw her new surname, "Thank you, lord", she said to herself. Tamara, and Bryan lived happily. 

True love does not hurt its own. Only the one that truly loves you can bring out the best in you. True Love sure exist. The End.
